In a time when nothing is as usual, the graduating graphic design students from Malmö University present their virtual graduation exhibition “Screen Gleaming”. The class of 2020 graduates, in a time when social distancing has placed a screen between ourselves and the outside world. These screens a rectangular rabbit holes; through which we collaborate, stay informed, manage our studies, mediate daily life, stream series and spend time with near and dear ones, all within a gleaming light. This year’s graduates speak the digital mother tongue fluently, and their projects explore our interconnectedness with the digital and analog materials with a sensibility for both. Suggesting that, today, one method can not exist without the other.
